We are proud to demonstrate the online booking platform we built for for carrickcraft, specialists in self-drive boating holidays on Ireland’s River Shannon.

carrickcraft approached The Travel Web Design Agency to design and build a tailored booking platform to streamline the search & reservation process for their customers. They wanted a modern, user-friendly UI/UX, and a backend that integrated seamlessly with their existing in-house systems.
One of their key goals was the ability to regularly ingest live boat, pricing and availability data from carrickcrafts’s bespoke internal platform. This allows them to easily keep the website in sync with their in-house systems, and allows them to managed everything using the tools they already know.
The platform was designed with their international customers in mind, featuring multilingual functionality and support for multiple currencies to make the booking process accessible for users across a wide range of markets.
We developed a bespoke search and filtering system that allows their customers to quickly find the most suitable boats based on their travel dates, destination preferences, boat size and onboard features. The search results themselves were carefully designed to surface the most important information clearly, helping users compare options and make decisions quickly.
The booking journey was built to support the complete customer experience from start to finish. Customers can add optional extras during the reservation process, manage transfer requirements and complete secure online payments directly all through one platform.
The design focused on simplicity, clarity and ease of use. Clean layouts, intuitive navigation and clear calls to action help guide users through the booking process while maintaining consistency with the established carrickcraft brand.
